From Site Tours to Galas

The Expansion of Mining Events

Mining and resource industry events are evolving. Wrapped Creations is at the forefront of this change, designing premium events balancing tradition with fresh ideas for a global audience. From Gala Dinners in a Quarry, to long table events at Hearson’s Cove, to the Colours of Our Country Exhibition in Perth, Busselton and London, our work demonstrates how mining and resource events can be elevated into world-class experiences.

Beyond Traditional Site Tours

Mining and resource companies are reimagining events as more than just opportunities to showcase operations — they’re platforms to inspire pride and global connection. Instead of a standard briefing or walkthrough, Wrapped Creations creates Family Days, where families travel to the regions their loved ones are working, tour the sites and share in entertainment, activities, and community celebration. These events provide a deeper connection to the work being done and the people behind it, reinforcing the company’s story while strengthening relationships.

Cultural Connection

Culture has become a defining element of premium events. From Welcome to Country ceremonies to the incorporation of Aboriginal music and art, mining and resource companies are recognising the importance of authenticity and respect. The annual Colours of Our Country exhibition is a prime example - celebrating Aboriginal artists and their work in a way that places cultural storytelling at the centre of the event experience.

Sustainability and Responsibility

Sustainability is a top priority for the resources sector, and in turn the way forward with events. Wrapped Creations embraces local suppliers, uses eco-friendly solutions where possible, and ensures event footprints are minimised.

We were proud to deliver an environmentally conscious RTLC Leadership Dinner at the World Heritage listed Murujuga National Park. Set beneath the Pilbara sky, this long table dining experience, catered by The Storyteller Chef, was designed to honour Country, community and the natural landscape.

Every decision was made with sustainability in mind. From locally sourced produce to reusable infrastructure, our team worked carefully before, during and after the event to ensure this pristine heritage site remained untouched. This event showcased how premium experiences can still be delivered with deep respect for culture, environment and place.

Immersive Innovation

Our events incorporate innovation to add even more value to the attendee experience as immersive event elements have become an integral part of storytelling. Our world class event ‘Rockstars’ at the Quarry showcased incredible Aboriginal Art projections on the walls of the Quarry in Boorloo. This spectacular lighting, sound, and staging created a unique, premium venue, blending culture with modern entertainment design.

Our Commitment

We understand how to weave culture, innovation, and premium experiences, setting the standard for the future of events in the resources industry. From the Pilbara to Perth, we’re proud to be shaping a new era of world-class events to inspire, connect and leave a legacy.
